Lekki Maritime Logistics Terminal & Heavy Quay Wall

Project Overview & Context

A flagship coastal infrastructure initiative designed to accommodate panamax cargo carriers and deep-draft oil exploration support vessels. Yiba Ventures managed continuous offshore piling works, soil vibro-replacement, and the slipform construction of heavy sea defense revetments.

The project utilized high-durability marine concrete with microsilica additives to ensure a minimum 75-year structural service life against harsh saline exposure.

Engineering Scope of Work & Execution Details

• Driving of 480 large-diameter steel tubular piles (1200mm OD) • Construction of 650m precast concrete deck and capping beams • 1.2M cubic meters of hydraulic sandfill and soil compaction • Installation of high-load bollards (150T) and cone rubber fender systems

Delivered Outcomes & KPI Impact

Awarded Federal Infrastructure Achievement Award 2025. Tripled vessel turnaround speed for regional offshore supply operations.
